The Janet Hamburg Scholarship Fund 

Janet was a compelling spokesperson for the Laban and Bartenieff work, bringing many students into deeper study and far-reaching applications. The Fund, seeded by the CMA community, provides partial scholarships for students in the Certificate Program in Laban Movement Studies who are interested in any of the following applications: 

*Movement practices that address degenerative diseases, especially of the Central Nervous System

*Research into neuroplasticity and  movement

*Movement and aging

*Movement and depression
