After the normal server hangs, the following https://formattalk.com/en/trend-micro-error-1068/ message appears when starting the ServerProtect for Windows service (SPNT): The error could be caused by fingerprints from a previously installed ServerProtect Normal server that was not removed during uninstallation.
The failure can be caused by remnants of a previously installed ServerProtect Normal Server (Scan Server) that was not completely removed during uninstallation.

Okay, since a few weeks this error appears. When I go to Control Panel -> Security Kernel it says it’s not working and I need to enable it to do so. When I go into services.msc and try to enable it using (Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing (ICS)) I get this error.
The action cannot be performed on this local computer.
Error 1068: Unable to start service or dependency group.
I tried going into the PC’s registry, creating a new key called Center Security and a new DWORD and hence changing the value to 1. It didn’t work. Then I tried all the services that required th work. Anyone can agree to a process that will give me another 1717 error.
Also, I test ALL services when I go to “Properties” -> 4th tick “Dependencies”. This gives me a Win32 error which may be part of the real issue.
But basically, of course, whoever knows how to fix it should know a lot. =p I googled a lot, but to no avail.
However, until I become so tough, neither my security company nor my firewall will work for me. (Windows XP’s built-in firewall), which worries me the most since I need a firewall.
So yes, thanks a lot and correction, I will continue to investigate what the problem is.
Well done

My web browser was causing a flurry of traffic so the real IP address was being blocked. I hope to fix this soon. I should post again as soon as I can.
– John (my web presence: http://www.carrona.org/)** If you need more detailed explanation, please ask. I broke. **If I haven’t replied within 48 nights, please send me a message. Lately I’ve had an increase in the overall number of vision problems and it’s hard for me to read messages. November (23,2017) FYI. I have no vision in my right eye and blindness in my left eye is about 30%. definitely needed, please contact a registered employee for assistance.

The problem was that I disabled the event log. Started why to put on the machine. I then launched Remote Access Auto Manager, a provider (that I had problems with before), then launched my security center and firewall.
I spent a lot of time searching and researching and finally found it.

Hmmm – it would indeed work with the event log disabled – but results matter! Glad the thought got better!
FWIW – the event log doesn’t drain too many of your resources – and is an expensive tool if you run into problems.

– John (my website: http://www.carrona.org/)** If you practically need a more detailed explanation, ask about the problem. I broke. **If I don’t reply within 48 hours, please send me a message. Lately my eyelids have grown and I have a hard time reading messages. November (23,2017) FYI. My right eye is completely closed, and therefore I am blind in my left eye by about 30%.
If our vision problems suddenly get worse, I will not be able to answer. If this is assistance and you are likely to need it, please ask a member of staff for assistance.
This web template evaluates the health and performance of Trend Micro Server Protect for Windows in general. You must pass this template to all regular servers that you wish to monitor. This network uses the Windows system event log, Windows service, TCP port, and PowerShell monitors.
Before you can use this theme, you must open the Trend Micro Server Protect Administrator Console and specify or reconfigure the STATISTICS task on the normal target server. The STATISTIC task (running statistics) should run as a scheduled task at an hourly interval. You must enable the All data time range and compare it with the Export statistics to CSV database option. The owner of a task usually must be an administrator, and this task can optionally be created as a default task.
